A business coach will help you accurately identify on your current reality, gain clarity on your intended vision/future, and help establish the best and most effective next steps to bridge that gap. It’s less about giving advice, and more about asking probing and thought provoking questions that will empower you, the CEO/Owner to come to your own understanding.
As business coaches, we assist and guide, consultants may do some of the heavy lifting on behalf of their clients.
Coaching and mentoring can sometimes be viewed as the same or similar. Both roles should offer years of experience. The biggest difference is, a mentor focuses on sharing knowledge or experiences in order to give the owner/CEO a more rounded perspective in advising, while a coach will assist and guide the owner in goal planning and keep them accountable so that they achieve success.
